TL;DR: EazyTools does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Most tools run entirely in your browser. We use no tracking cookies or advertising networks.
1. What data we collect
We collect no personally identifiable information. EazyTools does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name or email address to use any tool.
The only data collected is standard web server access logs (IP address, browser type, page visited, timestamp) that are retained briefly for security and error monitoring purposes and are not associated with any individual.
2. How your tool data is handled
Browser-only tools
The majority of EazyTools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. This includes: PDF tools, JSON formatter, Base64 encoder, Regex tester, Diff checker, Image resizer, QR code generator, Unit converter, Password generator, and more.
For these tools, your files and data never leave your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Backend-assisted tools
Some tools require a server-side request to function — for example: Whois lookups, SSL certificate checks, HTTP header checks, Port scanner, and Stock / Crypto market data.
For these tools, the minimum necessary data (e.g. a domain name or IP address you enter) is sent to our backend to perform the lookup. This data is not logged, stored, or used for any purpose beyond completing your request.
File conversion tools
Tools such as the Excel↔CSV Converter process files on our server. Uploaded files are processed in memory and immediately discarded — they are never written to disk or retained after the response is sent.
3. Cookies
EazyTools uses no tracking cookies and no third-party advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar behavioural tracking tools.
We may use a minimal session cookie solely for security purposes (CSRF protection). This cookie contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser.
4. Third-party services
EazyTools uses a small number of external services to deliver functionality:
- —Binance API — Used by the Crypto Signal Dashboard to fetch public market data. No personal data is sent.
- —Yahoo Finance API — Used by the Stock Market tool to fetch public NSE/BSE price data. No personal data is sent.
- —ipapi.co — Used by the Public IP & Geo Lookup tool to fetch geolocation for IP addresses you enter. See ipapi.co/privacy.
- —OpenStreetMap — Used to display approximate location maps in the IP lookup tool. No personal data is shared.
5. Advertising
EazyTools.net currently carries no advertising. If advertising is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and we will use only privacy-respecting ad networks that do not engage in behavioural tracking.
6. Children's privacy
EazyTools is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
